A few weeks ago I posted a link to an excellent blog post by Golden Circle Designs about the cost of kits - well, now she's followed it up with a post about the cost of charts.
If you've ever wondered just how much money your favourite designer gets from each chart sold, you can find out here.
At the moment all my charts are produced solely as downloadable PDFs. There may come a time when I have to change that - it depends on whether people breach my copyright or not. If I have to change, then they will become more expensive and I would be really sorry to see that happen - I know that cross stitch can be a very expensive hobby!
I may move to doing some charts in print form - I have an ambition to do some shows (not sure why, it will probably be a very expensive way of not selling many charts!) so I will need to have some printed charts. I will also need to have a bigger collection so I'd better get stitching!
In the meantime, I am designing away but the pattern on the new Lady Elinor design's kirtle isn't coming easy!
