In England we have a saying 'you wait forever for a bus and then three come along at once' - it feels a bit like that with cross stitch designs.
The design I was planning to release this month has been at the framer's so long I have a suspicion it will soon be charged rent.
But, for the first time ever, I've stitched some Christmas ornaments. Sadly, the photo doesn't do them justice. It is only a temporary photo as, come December, I will have a go at picturing them attached to a tree and see if I can get them to twinkle in the fairy lights.
For the most part they are stitched in beads and metallics, so they really do sparkle. I'm so pleased with them I'm designing some more (although as I killed my printer last week I can't print the designs off to stitch the models yet).
They are all stitched on 16-count Aida and have a stitch count of (roughly) 25 x 15. In other words, they're tiny, really good for using up left over threads and beads and you can complete each design in a couple of hours (less if you're a faster stitcher than me!).
The frames I used are from Framecraft, reference MO1/2, they come in packs of two. Here's the link to the page on the Framecraft website where you can find them.
