It's been a while, for which I apologise - I've been busy, hopefully I'll be able to reveal more in the next few days - but it's time to get back to sharing others' work.
I love the autumn colours - in fact, there's one tree in the country park over the road that's turned such a fabulous red I'm planning a trip out with my camera - and the dog loves chasing leaves but the fact is the arrival of autumn says winter is on its way.
I love the starkness of winter, the limited palette and the clearness of it - I just don't like going out in it very much. (The exception being when enough snow has fallen to be interesting and it's all pristine.)
When I saw Lucy Gittins from Xstitch Xcellence's Season's Glory Winter Pearl Blue design it really reminded me of early winter mornings when the frost is still clinging to the trees. The kit costs £15 and you can buy it here. There's also a spring design in the series.
