Where to buy

Long before I started stitching my ambition was to write novels. The day job is writing and ediiting but every so often I get the chance to spend a little time writing fiction. The first novel I dared let the public see (by no means the first I'd written) was The Jenny Wilson Show. It tells the story of what happens when the inhabitants of the post-life world start making TV shows. Their first is a chat show on which Henry VIII and his six wives appear. The problem is that life in the afterlife is supposed to be peaceful - so why is everyone arguing so much? It was fun to write and isn't meant to be serious beyond making the point that when we sit in history lessons learning dates and consequences we are studying people who have the same instincts and desires as we do - just set in a completely different context.

I've never got round to publishing it in paperback so it's available in e-book format only on Amazon and through all the retailers Smashwords supplies.

I received the following unsolicited (and therefore a lovely surprise) email from a reader who has kindly given me permission to use it on this site:

I just had to write and tell you how much I enjoyed your “The Jenny Wilson Show”.  I am just starting my journey of learning more about the Tudor times and dynasty.  I know that it is not all the facts, but it is fun to think of the possibilities that are raised in your book.  Again, I just wanted to thank you and let you know that you have a new fan.
Mary Roger

I have a sequel to The Jenny Wilson Show in the pipeline not to mention three standalone novels. I just need the time to write them!
